Thankfully, Citi Cards are stepping in to ease the pinch with their latest 1-for-1 hotel dining deals, where you can feast on multi-course menus, kaiseki, afternoon tea, and even hotel buffets without busting the bank. These promotions will be available till 30 April 2021, or when the offers are fully redeemed.

1. The Grand Lobby

Give yourself a midday treat at Raffles Hotel Singapore’s The Grand Lobby Sakura Afternoon Tea. This Japanese-themed afternoon tea is part of the hotel’s rotating thematic afternoon tea experiences, priced at $88++ per person.

Your set comes with an array of savouries and sweets with a Japanese touch, created by Executive Pastry Chef Tan Chien Lin. Accompanying the silver tiered stand of treats is your choice of tea or coffee, as well as house-baked scones. With the Citi Cards’ 1-for-1 offer, you pay $88++ for two people instead, which works out to a wallet-friendly $44++ more incentive to treat yourself.

Do note that the promotion for the afternoon tea is only available from Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 5pm.

2. Brasserie Les Saveurs


The St. Regis Singapore’s French dining establishment, Brasserie Les Saveurs zones in on contemporary French fare expertly prepared by Executive Chef Thibault Chiumenti and his culinary brigade. Seasonal produce takes the spotlight in their exclusive Citi Cards Set Menu, where diners get to enjoy four courses for just $100++ per person, or $50++ per person after the Citi Cards 1-for-1 discount. 

The menu includes your choice of appetiser, their famous Bisque de Homard lobster soup, your choice of main, and your choice of dessert. We highly recommend the Salade de Tomate et Burrata to start, as you get all the goodness of locally made burrata cheese and heirloom Moroccan tomatoes to whet your appetite. 

For mains, the Filet de Boeuf is a classic choice, with beef tenderloin accompanied by a picture-perfect selection of greens, and potato gratin. Finally, end the meal with the Fraisier, a delicate twist on the strawberry shortcake served with rich pistachio ice cream.

3. Hua Ting Restaurant


Hua Ting Restaurant at Orchard Hotel Singapore has been around since 1992, and is one of Singapore’s pre-eminent fine-dining Chinese restaurants. Score yourself an eight-course set menu for just $108++ per person at the restaurant, or $54++ per person after the Citi Cards 1-for-1 discount while you dine your way through award-winning Chef Lap Fei’s creations.

Highlights include a hearty Braised Bird’s Nest, Egg White and Supreme Chicken Stock broth, as well as Stewed Noodles with Boston Lobster. The latter sees a whole Boston Lobster topping egg noodles and a silky, seafood-rich sauce. The menu also has Wok-Fried Scallops with Asparagus and Homemade XO Sauce, as well as Stuffed Beancurd Gluten with South African Abalone—more seafood items to make the most out of your buck.

4. Colony


Colony at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is one of Singapore’s most iconic buffets, with an incredible value-for-money for the sheer variety of items you get. Their Dinner A La Carte Buffet is priced at $84++ per person or $42++ per person after the Citi Cards 1-for-1 deal, and for the price, you get more than 50 dishes that showcase the best of Singapore’s heritage cuisines.

We especially enjoy their fresh seafood, of which you can get unlimited oysters, as well as sashimi selections. On top of these, the buffet entitles you to all-you-can-eat portions of roast meats prepared Asian and Western-style, alongside a range of local classics. Their Singapore Chilli Crab with Golden Mantou is a must-order, as each generous portion comes with a crab’s claw, heaps of sweet-spicy sauce, and fluffy fried mantou for dipping.

Their dessert array is as boggling as their savoury menu, with a mix of both local and Western sweets for you to enjoy. Some are even prepared a la minute!

5. Min Jiang

Min Jiang has been around for almost forty years, and through the times, they have refined their Cantonese and Sichuan offerings to new heights. Citi Cardmembers can experience what Min Jiang has to offer with an exclusive six-course menu, priced at $106.20++ per person or $53.10++ per person after the Citi Cards 1-for-1 discount. Diners get to eat their way through a trio of appetisers, before enjoying a Double-Boiled Chicken Consomme with Black Truffle and Dried Scallops

Diners also get atas seafood dishes such as a Braised 10-Head Abalone with Ling Zhi Mushrooms, and Fried Rice with Baby Abalones and Crabmeat to close the meal. The course menu is available for lunch and dinner too, so you can choose to book this for special occasions or even business lunches.

6. Cherry Garden

Seven courses for just $98++ per person makes Cherry Garden’s Heart set menu one of the most affordable on this list. Expect classic Cantonese dishes to arrive at the table, from Peking Duck Crepes dressed with a housemade sweet-and-sour sauce, to a moreish Thick Superior Lobster Soup with Conpoy And Seaweed. Mains include their tender Braised Cod Fillet and Kurobuta Char Siew in Bean Sauce, as well as an Oven-Baked Boneless Spring Chicken with Garlic Barbecue Sauce.

7. Basilico

Basilico is Regent Hotel’s flagship Italian restaurant, so you can expect an entirely Italian feast for their exclusive Citi Cards Set Menu. Spanning four courses for $80++ or $40++ after the Citi Cards 1-for-1 deal, the meal starts off with an antipasti spread that includes aged parma ham, cheeses, as well as truffle honey. 

Then, for mains, choose from five different dishes, including the Pizza Prosciutto e Rucola, where your pie gets topped with 36-month cured parma ham, as well as Spaghettoni alle Cozze, topped with black Mediterranean mussels. The meal closes with desserts, and, of course, some cheeses to round it all off.

9. Ginger, PARKROYAL on Beach Road


Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road has a distinctly Asian buffet menu, peppered with local favourites. The buffet runs daily, from 12pm to 2:30pm.

Revel in the likes of homemade otah, as well as satay, then move on to unlimited servings of hokkien mee, as well as slow-braised beef rendang. Diners also get to eat their fill of Ginger’s Singapore Laksa, which is one of their signatures.

10. Mikuni


Find yourself in Japan at Mikuni, a fine dining Japanese restaurant in Fairmont Singapore. While teppanyaki and sushi are their main focus, this hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant has an exclusive Citi Cards Special menu, where five courses will set you back $120 nett per person, or $60 nett after Citi Cards 1-for-1 deal.

The menu wows with a whole selection of luxurious ingredients, starting with an ikura-topped Kyushu Onsen Egg, served with a truffle dashi sauce. Next, a sashimi platter lined with fresh slices of Salmon, Kampachi, and Scallop, all of which were thickly sliced. 

The journey through Japanese cuisine continues with a tempura medley. The golden-battered selection had tempura spins on juicy prawns, sweet potato, Hokkaido sweet corn, as well as anago, a type of Japanese eel, and kinmedai fish. Finally, the meal closes with an A5 Tochigi Beef Sukiyaki Konabe, which arrives at the table on a traditional clay stove. Each serving comes with generously portioned wagyu slices, a melt-in-your-mouth end to a satisfying meal.
