National Day’s just around the corner, and there are deals aplenty in celebration of Singapore’s 57th birthday. Joining in the fun is Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King, who will be celebrating their 11th anniversary as well. On 8 and 9 August 2022, they’ll be selling bowls of their signature Tonkotsu Ramen ($10.90++) at just $1.10++!

With a deal this good, there is a catch, of course. Only 300 bowls of ramen will be available each day for dine-in customers, and this is only at their Tanjong Pagar location.

Do note that they’re closed for a break between 3pm and 5pm on 8 August, but since 9 August is a public holiday, they’ll be open all day, from 11:30am to 10:30pm. Every seated customer will also have to order a bowl of ramen.

If you’ve been to any Ramen Keisuke joint, you’ll know that dining here means a free flow of boiled eggs and marinated bean sprouts. Great news: the $1.10 tonkotsu ramen deal will still come with all that!
And if you haven’t been to Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King before, their signature tonkotsu broth is a creamy, pork-based soup that’s boiled for hours using pork and chicken bones, as well as collagen.
In their most basic bowl, which is what you’ll be served, you can expect chashu, black fungus, and negi AKA scallions.

You’re typically given a sheet to fill in your options for your bowl of ramen, allowing you to indicate your choice of toppings, soup, and noodles. You get to decide between a lighter or richer broth, and choose how soft you’d like your ramen. It’s not clear if these options will still be available with the promotion, however.
If you can’t make it to Ramen Keisuke next week, Shinjitsu Ramen has super affordably priced chicken ramen, at just $6.50 a bowl! Otherwise, you could head to Ramen Keisuke Niku King, where their tonkotsu ramen is overloaded with chashu.
