This Hidden Dempsey Cafe Feels Like An Escape From The City, Get Pandan Latte And More Here

Bellerbys House is a hidden cafe in Dempsey Hill

After a long week of working and adulting, all we really want to do is to find a quiet spot and unwind without having to worry about our responsibilities. Bellerbys House is the perfect place for that; this industrial-themed cafe, nestled in Dempsey Hill, provides a serene ambience for those who want a good cup of joe and a break from their fast-paced life.

Bellerbys House’s interior is a good blend of industrial and minimalist vibes. The concrete flooring, and surrounding lush greenery come together harmoniously to create a rustic and cosy space.

If your go-to coffee order is Iced Black ($6) or Flat White ($5.50), take this chance to try something new with the likes of Pandan Latte ($6.50) or Lemongrass Latte ($6.50).

Since there’s a bit of local touch to Pandan Latte, we recommend pairing the drink with the classic Kaya Butter Toast ($3.50) which comes with two pieces. Each piece gives you a thick slab of butter, and a generous amount of pandan kaya! And there, you get a lovely Singaporean breakfast in the heart of Dempsey.

Cafe gurlies who prefer viennoiseries can opt for the Butterhorn, Cheese Danish, or Almond Croissant priced at $6 each. Their bakes are displayed at the counter, so take your time to explore what they have for the day.

For something more substantial, there’s the Bellerbys Bircher Muesli ($5) served with rolled oats, Greek yoghurt, and a drizzle of honey. You can also add toppings to your bowl of muesli, including fresh strawberry ($1.50), pistachio ($1), and toasted coconut flakes ($0.50).

Bellerbys House may be compact in size, but there are both indoor and outdoor seats to house as many customers as possible. If you prefer an industrial-themed space, head indoors. Otherwise, their outdoor seating area is great for soaking up your daily dose of vitamin D!
