Hop your way to Cafe Culture 2019

It’s not every day that you can eat food from the best cafes and bakeries in one weekend. It’s a difficult feat for anyone, even for #CrazyRichAsians who have private jets to whisk them from country to country. Well, thankfully, you don’t need to be rich or super fast to cafe hop around the globe, as Cafe Culture 2019 will be bringing 10 cafes and bakeries to you next month

Held from 29 August to 1 September 2019 at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, the immersive cafe event is a first in Singapore, and will bring in famous names including Lune Croissanterie from Melbourne, Bali’s Sisterfields, Switch Coffee Tokyo, Coffee Collective from Copenhagen, and Bangkok’s Roast.

These cafes and bakeries are known to command long queues where they are from. Lune Croissanterie, for example, has people standing in line from the wee hours of the night for their fluffy croissants. I just came back from Bali and had to wait a good hour for a taste of Sisterfield’s Dirty Burger; it was worth it.

With prices starting from $45, the tickets don’t come cheap. But it’s worth it as you’ll get $42 worth of F&B vouchers. This means the entry prices will range between $3 to $23.Ā

See here for the full price list for a solo cafe-goer:

One-day pass for 1 pax (comes with $42 F&B vouchers)

  • Early Bird: $45
  • Online: $55 (valid for purchase from 20 July to 28 August 2019)
  • At the door: $65

Four-day pass for 1 pax (comes with $42 F&B vouchers)

  • Early Bird: $55
  • Online: $65 (valid for purchase from 20 July to 28 August 2019)
  • At the door: $75

Prices are a wee bit cheaper if you go in a pair, so grab a friend along!

Also, do note that there are two passes, Cafe Hopper and Coffee Adventurer, to choose from.

The former gets you a brew coupon (worth $9), brunch coupon (worth $21) and a cake coupon (worth $12). While the latter presents four brew coupons in total, which can be redeemable at Coffee Collective, St. Ali, Switch Coffee Tokyo, Pushers, Roots.Ā

However, do note that all F&B vouchers can’t be used at Lune Croissanterie—you gotta swipe your credit card if you want a piece of ā€˜em golden beauts.Ā
