Get $1.99 Meals By Takagi Ramen, EatPizza And More From A Vending Machine

ChefGenie has vending machine meals at Punggol Coast Mall

We’ve recently seen a bunch of unique vending machines pop up across the island, from Hiap Joo Bakery’s famous banana cakes to Springleaf Prata Place’s prata. The latest addition is ChefGenie, which just launched their AI-powered vending machines at Punggol Coast Mall, offering freshly made meals. There’s an ongoing promotion till 14 September 2025, where you can enjoy the meals at just $1.99 each.

Expect to find an array of dishes by eight popular homegrown brands: Springleaf Prata Place, Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari, Takagi Ramen, Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks, The Hainan Story, EatPizza, Tuk Tuk Cha, and InstaChef.

To redeem the $1.99 deal, download and create an account on the ChefGenie mobile app. Thereafter, select the vending machine closest to you on the map and place your order. You will then be notified as soon as your meal is ready for collection. Do note that the promo is limited to one redemption per account and is only available from 12pm to 8pm!

You may be wondering if the meals here are truly made fresh. Worry not, as you’re not paying for microwaved frozen food. Instead, each dish is prepared on the spot with a built-in induction cooker.

We tried EatPizza’s K-Fire Sausage Bibimbap (U.P. $6.83), featuring soft, sticky Korean rice in a sweet-spicy gochujang sauce, topped with mini sausages, mushrooms, shredded carrots, corn, fresh watercress, seaweed, and aromatic sesame seeds.

The sausages were juicy and tender, pairing well with the slightly chewy rice.

There are halal options available, too, such as Springleaf Prata Place’s Chicken Briyani (U.P. $6.83). The meal consists of two components: a spicy masala curry filled with tender chunks of chicken meat, and fragrant basmati rice paired with pieces of spiced eggplant.

The basmati rice was soft and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the rich, flavourful curry.

ChefGenie Punggol Coast Mall is offering their $1.99 launch offer till 14 September, or while stocks last, so head down now before it’s too late!
