If you’re an Eastie like me, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is the perfect location for you to have a Christmas feast without travelling too far out. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the Festive A La Carte Buffet, available 3 to 30 December, at Azur that’s priced from $58++ per person. Apart from the traditional Christmas items like Honey Glazed Gammon Ham and Roast Turkey Roulade, they offer dishes that span Korean, Indian, and local flavours.  

Citi Cardmembers enjoy 20% off the Festive A La Carte Buffet from 16 to 30 December, and an early bird discount of 25% off if you dine between 3 and 15 December! This works out to less than $50 for a Christmas buffet.

The Lobby Lounge at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is also offering 25% off Yuletide Takeaways from 1 to 25 December. Order your Christmas party platter from Dolcetto by Basilico at Regent Singapore. The Festive-To-Go menu here has dishes made with an Italian flair.

Seafood aficionados can look out for the Adriatic-style Marinated Seafood Platter ($98++), which includes Alaskan king crab, Boston lobster, queen scallop with lemon, and assorted dips. There’s also a Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli ($128++), accompanied by a rich wagyu beef bolognese, cherry tomato sauce, and aged Parmesan, that can cater to a party of 10.

The award-winning pastry kitchen at Dolcetto By Basilico has also rolled out three new log cake flavours this yearSicilian Bronte Pistachio & Granny Smith Apples, Earl Grey with Sea Salt Raspberry and an Italian Chestnut & Whiskey Cheesecake with Caramelised Pear Compote. 3. Conrad Centennial Singapore


Head to Oscar’s at Conrad Centennial Singapore for a delightful Christmas meal. Known for their a la carte buffets, this restaurant has menus tailored for lunch, brunch, dinner, as well as festive occasions, with each boasting over 60 items. 

Spend an evening this December at Oscar’s to experience their exciting A la Carte Buffet (from $69++), with dishes like a Sous Vide Australian Lamb Chop and Stuffed Crab Shell. Go for the Festive Buffet experience, where there’s even a Roasted Turkey on a trolley that’s pushed around the dining hall so you can witness the carving of the turkey.

Don’t miss the adorable mini Caramel Pecan Tart, a sweet and nutty dessert will leave you wanting more. Do note that this buffet menu will also be available for brunch on Christmas Day.  

At $208++ per person, accompany the Christmas buffet experience with free-flow gin and tonic, where the boozy concoctions are prepared on a mobile bar tableside. Go for the St. George Gin & Tonic for an aromatic hit of cinnamon and lemongrass. Otherwise, opt for the Boodles Gin & Tonic for a fruitier and sweeter tipple. 

From 1 to 31 December, Citi PremierMiles, Citi Prestige and Citi ULTIMA members can enjoy up to 20% off the A La Carte Buffet, with the exceptions on Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day lunch and dinner as well as New Year’s Eve dinner, while all other Citi Cardholders enjoy 15% off. What’s more, there’s a 10% off festive goodies, log cakes and takeaway afternoon tea if you order between 25 November to 31 December.

4. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore


The Courtyard’s Festive Afternoon Tea Menu ($51++ on weekdays, $56++ on weekends and public holidays) at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore features a three-tiered stand of sweet and savoury treats such as Madagascar Vanilla Mont Blanc Tart, Festive Macaron, Salmon Gravlax Blini, and Turkey & Apricot Tartlet. The afternoon tea also includes a basket of scones with strawberry preserve and clotted cream, as well as coffee and tea. Note that the Afternoon Tea Menu is available from 3pm to 6pm daily. 

From now till 30 December, the fourth diner dines free at the weekday Festive Afternoon Tea when paid using Citi Cards. Be sure to call 6877 8911 and make your reservations.

Citi Cards is also extending a 15% discount on festive goodies and takeaways, including Yule Log Cakes ($69 nett) in flavours like Teh Tarik and Coconut Calamansi, from The Fullerton Hotel Singapore until 25 December. 5. The Orchard Café, Orchard Hotel Singapore


Instead of serving up traditional Christmas fare, The Orchard Café at Orchard Hotel Singapore has switched up their festive offerings this year with bolder creations.

The Christmas Unlimited Plated Buffet ($58++ for lunch and $78++ for dinner) presents an array of dishes including Vegetable Salad with peppers and tomatoes directly from Malaysia farms, Chicken Galantine served with a red currant sauce, as well as house-cured salmon. 

The crowd-pleasing Tandoori Turkey is tender, smoky, and full of flavour. Their rendition of roast turkey is inspired by the Indian dish, which explains the intense flavour of herbs and spices. Be sure to eat it with garlic naan and mint yoghurt sauce for a refreshing finish. 

Enjoy 20% off the Christmas A La Carte Buffet at The Orchard Café till the end of December, excluding the eves of and on Public Holidays, when you pay using a Citi Card.

At Mandarin Orchard Singapore, you’ll find mouthwatering roasts and ravishing sweet delicacies in their Festive Takeaways. One of their hot favourites, the Roasted Sakura Chicken ($108++), has made a comeback this year. Stuffed with a combination of black truffles, quinoa, and wild rice, this dish is a treat for your senses.

Besides popular dishes that are making a return this Christmas, the kitchen at Mandarin Orchard Singapore also has new creations that are just as satisfying. The Roasted Australian Lamb Roll with Thyme Jus ($68++) features a slab of succulent premium lamb that’s rolled and roasted with an aromatic thyme jus.

The Deli at Goodwood Park Hotel has festive dishes with Asian influences. The Goodwood Christmas Cheer 2020 menu features an assortment of dishes that are available for takeaway this holiday season.

Instead of the traditional turkey roast, The Deli’s interpretation of this Christmas centrepiece features a new Asian-inspired ‘Har Cheong’ Turkey and Vegetable Rice with housemade spicy Thai-style dip and scallion sour cream ($118 nett). Other dishes in the festive menu includes Crispy ‘Char Siew’ Turkey with Pine Nuts Kataifi ($38 nett) and Mini Turkey Shepherd’s Pie with Duo Potato and Cheese Crumble ($38 nett)

The Deli has pretty good festive desserts as well. Indulge in the Goodwood Black Thorn Durian Christmas Log Cake ($88 nett) or go for the enchanting Christmas Holiday Cabin Log Cake ($82 nett)

8. Suki-Ya


Go on a hotpot date at Suki-Ya this Christmas, because Citi Cards is offering a 50% off for the second diner. Nothing screams ‘feast’ more than unlimited servings of shabu shabu, vegetables, and a large pot of piping hot soup. The lunch buffet is priced at $18.90++, while the dinner buffet is priced at $24.90++ per pax.  

Apart from serving a selection of thinly sliced meat, you can also choose between five different soup bases─Shabu-Shabu, Sukiyaki, Tonyu Miso, Kimuchi, and Butaniku.

For the ultimate sukiyaki experience, we recommend the Sukiyaki broth, which has a sweet soy flavour that complements the shabu-shabu. Don’t forget to order the tasty udon as it soaks up all the delicious flavour of the soup.

From street snacks such as the Oyster Omelette ($9.90++) to sweet treats like Mango Snow Ice ($6.90++) and bubble tea, Eat At Taipei has something to suit every palate.
