If the constant long queues at Mr Coconut stores islandwide have taught us anything, it’s that Singaporeans would do almost anything to get their hands on a refreshing coconut shake. Entering the scene as competition to the beloved brand would be CocoBoss, with a new shop at Marine Parade Central selling their very own coconut shakes in various flavours.

This outlet is their latest addition to their only other store located in Kovan, a true delight for advocates for “east side is best side” around.

You really can’t go wrong with their OG Coconut Shake ($5.80), a light yet flavourful concoction that you get to customise to your liking. For those who don’t know, you get to pick your desired sugar level and even choose whether you want your coconut flesh in smaller bits or in chunks.

To zhng up your experience even more, consider their flavoured shakes, such as the Salted Caramel Coconut ($6.90) and Matcha Coconut ($6.90), to further enhance and diversify the taste profile of your drink. But, if you prefer a mild touch to your shake, opt for their add-on individual flavour boosters such as Salted Caramel and Hazelnut for only $0.70.

Cool down in our scorching hot weather with the Fresh Coconut Juice ($5.80), ideal as a post-meal finisher or even after an intense workout.

Best thing about them is that an upsize on any of their drinks will only set you back $1, giving you a larger cup and an even larger sense of satisfaction.

For other new openings around Singapore, check out Joy Luck Teahouse’s new outlet at Plaza Singapura, introducing their new salted egg bolo bun as well. Also, Heavenly Wang has a new take-out stall at Toa Payoh, selling their volcanic lava buns and toast.

Address: Block 87 Marine Parade Central, #01-503B, Singapore 440087
Opening hours: Daily 11am to 10pm
