The days of seeking our bubble tea fixes from DIY BBT kits and home delivery options still feel surreal. Now, as we freely enjoy our BBT, The Alley has zhng-ed up the game with their new Crunchy Milk Tea Series.

Launched in three new flavours, this series promises BBT lovers the best of both worlds thanks to crunchy biscuit toppings and chewy pearls. So if you can’t decide between a sweet drink and a crunchy dessert, this BBT has it all in a single sip.

Brown sugar lovers like myself would be excited to try the Crunchy Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($6.30). Get your fix of brown sugar along with some crunchy butter biscuit bits and milk foam with this flavour. Those who loved The Alley’s Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brûlée Milk would likely also appreciate this crunchy version.

Readers who are sick of brown sugar can also try their Crunchy Tiramisu Milk ($7.30). This cup promises an interesting concoction of milk with cocoa and mascarpone cream—basically a dessert in a cup.

Many of us have tried renditions of cheese tea and I’m sure we can appreciate the salty and creamy allure of cheese. Just like silky cheese tea, there’s also the same creamy mouthfeel from this tiramisu milk. Hence if you love sweet treats, yet can’t really appreciate brown sugar, this might just be the drink for you.

Last but not least is the Crunchy Cocoa Milk Tea ($6.30). For those who can’t say no to chocolate, this cocoa milk tea will have to be your pick. This drink offers decadent hazelnut chocolate to go with the buttery biscuit bits, giving you a delightful sugar rush.

These sweet pick-me-ups are available at their Jewel Changi and Tampines One outlets. Non-Easties can also get them from both Chir Chir Chicken outlets located at JEM and 313 Somerset.

For brown sugar fans who prefer to stay at home, check out our brown sugar pearl fresh milk recipe too!
