Daily Beer Opens At CHIJMES With Famous Korean Fried Chicken And Craft Beer

Daily Beer opens at CHIJMES with famous Korean fried chicken

New in: famous Korean craft beer and fried chicken chain Daily Beer has just opened their second outlet in Singapore at CHIJMES! The popular restaurant, which boasts over 370 stores in Korea, first launched in Telok Ayer in May 2024.

Fans can look forward to their signature Korean fried chicken, also known as Angry Bird on the menu. Try the original version, without any sauce, at $28++ for 600g of wings, $29++ for 600g of boneless meat, and $32++ for a whole chicken with eight pieces.

Other renditions include Angry Bird – Red (from $30++)—deep-fried chicken coated in a spicy sauce—and Angry Bird – Black (from $30++), featuring a sweet black garlic soy sauce. During our visit to their OG location, we found the chicken crispy on the outside with a tender and juicy middle.

Alternatively, if you love extra crispy fried chicken, try the Angry Bird – Crunch (from $30++), whose signature chicken is coated in crunchy cornflakes and garlic seasoning.

Besides fried chicken, Daily Beer CHIJMES also offers a lineup of bar grub, including the popular Cheese Balls ($12++): five deep-fried mozzarella cheese balls with a mochi-like centre.

You’ll also find Original French Fries ($16++) and Kimchi Fries ($16++), great for munching on while you imbibe.

There’s even a selection of hearty Korean mains such as Daily Tteokbokki ($28++) and Spicy Noodles with Young Radish Kimchi ($25++) if you’re feeling extra peckish.

While you’re here, don’t miss out on their craft beers. Popular picks are Seoul Weizen ($13++), a smooth German wheat beer that pairs well with spicy food, and K-Festbier ($14++), a lager with a caramel-like sweetness.

This new CHIJMES outlet sees two new and exclusive beers, too: Gijang Sour Weiss ($15++), a tart and fruity sour ale brewed in Busan, and Modern IPA ($15++), which boasts tropical notes of passionfruit, pineapple, and citrus.

To make things even sweeter, enjoy 1-for-1 craft beer with any food order from now to 30 October 2024! This promotion is valid from Monday to Friday, till 8pm daily.
