DLLM Lok Lok Has New Outlet In Jurong, Opens Till 4AM Daily

DLLM Lok Lok Jurong

The lok lok wave hit Singapore hard last year, with skewer joints popping up all across Singapore, offering diners a taste of familiar JB street fare till the wee hours of the AM. One eatery, DLLM Lok Lok, proved particularly popular with diners, with many flocking to their MacPherson outlet for $1 skewers since their opening. Now, the eatery has decided to expand to the West, with an opening at 511 Upper Jurong Road.

DLLM’s name is a little tongue in cheek, nodding to a cuss in Cantonese. The same irreverence applies to their logo, where an old ah ma gives you the middle finger with skewers in hand. Jokes aside, the food here is legit, especially if you’re looking for a casual meal to enjoy with friends over a few kopitiam beers.

Skewers cost $1, and are all prepared to order. You get to choose from a variety of meat, seafood, and greens. Popular options include their Smoked Duck, Otah, Fish Cake, and the ever-popular Broccoli. Each is grilled with a lick of sauce, and a dusting of lok lok’s savoury powder mix.

What makes DLLM Lok Lok stand out from the crowd is their variety of house-made sauces available to enjoy with their lok lok. Currently, they have six, split between spicy and savoury. Our faves include the Salted Egg, Chilli Padi And Lime, and Thai Nam Jin.

Apart from skewers, DLLM Lok Lok Jurong will also introduce their popular maggie mee offering, the Tom Yum Ahma Mee ($2.50). The mouth-watering soup here is zhnged-up with tom yum sauce, egg yolk, and fried shallots.

If you’re a Westie thinking of heading down for your next late-night supper fix, note that while opening hours are till 4am, last orders at are 3:15am.
