If you’re looking for a great brunch spot in Johor Bahru, be sure to check out Dona Bakehouse—that is, if you haven’t already. This popular cafe-bakery boasts a 4.5-star rating from 1.3K Google Maps reviews for its outlet near the JB Customs, with two additional locations in Sunway Iskandar and Kuala Lumpur aren’t far behind. Dona Bakehouse is best known for its fresh pastries. You’ve got all the classics here, such as Almond Croissant (RM15), Pain Au Chocolate (RM10), Strawberry Danish (RM14.90) and more.

The Pistachio Swirl (RM15.90) and Earl Grey Swirl (RM15.90) are fan favourites—these sizeable and flaky pastries are topped and filled with pistachio and Earl Grey-infused cream, respectively.
