Get Gong Cha’s new Milk Foam drinks now

Move over, cheese foam and hello, flavoured Milk Foam. If brown sugar bubble tea wasn’t enough for your sweet tooth, Gong Cha has launched a brand new Brown Sugar Milk Foam that will raise your regular Brown Sugar Fresh Milk to new heights. This launch also sees the release of a Strawberry Milk Foam for those who prefer a little tartness in their bubble tea.

Gong Cha’s Classic Milk Foam is given a facelift by marrying two of the brand’s most popular drink series ─ the signature Milk Foam series, and the bestselling Brown Sugar Drink series.

Their Classic Milk Foam is made by whipping their proprietary creamer, milk, butter and cream at high speed for three minutes for a smooth, fluffy foam that sits nicely on each cup of bubble tea. Now, this is zhnged with brown sugar or fresh strawberries, for a burst of sweetness, or a lighter, subtler fruitiness.

These new Milk Foams are said to be a harmonious blend of sweet and savoury, and are available with Gong Cha’s four freshly brewed teas ─ Alisan Tea, Black Tea, Green Tea and Oolong Tea.

Like all other foam drinks, these teas are best enjoyed without stirring. Rather, it’s suggested that you sip it to fully appreciate both the foam and aromatic tea at once.

The Brown Sugar and Strawberry Milk Foam fresh-brewed tea drinks are available at all outlets in Regular (500ml) and Large (700ml) cups. Brown Sugar Milk Foam tea drinks are priced at $4 and $5 respectively for Regular and Large cups, while the Strawberry Milk Foam tea drinks are $3.40 and $4.40.

These drinks will also be available for islandwide delivery through Deliveroo, Foodpanda and GrabFood from 15 October 2020.

If you’d prefer to make your own, check out our recipe for brown sugar boba fresh milk at home that tastes just as good!

Otherwise, Taiwan’s Colobaba has recently opened their first outlet in Singapore, and Hong Kong’s famous Cupping Room Coffee Roasters has hit our shores too.
