What was once a hole-in-the-wall HDB home cafe, Ground Floor Coffee recently shifted to their new space in Bedok. In case you didn’t know, they first blew up on TikTok two years ago for serving coffee out of a window. This paved the way for joints with the same concept such as Kopi Khoo!
Ground Floor Coffee was a home-based business (HBB) helmed by self-taught barista Adhwa Hasif. Adhwa used to operate his takeaway coffee joint out of a window of his house in Pasir Ris, and many were intrigued by this unique concept.
Although they had ceased business sometime in August 2023, they teased their return on Instagram early this September, which was met with much anticipation and excitement. And true enough, the cafe officially returned on 22 September 2024! They now operate as a takeaway cafe at East Village Mall.
Popular picks include the Flat White ($6), and Smooth Mokka ($7.30). Their revamped menu also sees new additions such as Honey Oat Latte ($8), Dirty Chai ($7.50), and Coconut White ($7.50)Â among others.
From what was shared on their social media, you can also expect new filter coffees on rotation and a choice of single origin beans for your coffees.Â
Ground Floor Coffee is at East Village Mall, a 15-minute walk from Tanah Merah MRT Station. Keep an eye out for more updates on their Instagram page!
