If you love making your money work for you, you’ll want in on this. From now till 31 July 2025, HSBC is running a Miles and Rewards Lucky Draw Promotion, where credit card customers can score once-in-a-lifetime experiences simply by doing what they already do: spending.
Both new and existing customers are entitled to win luxurious holidays and world-class meals at some of Singapore’s most celebrated restaurants—including Michelin-starred icons like Pangium and Candlenut.
Here’s how the promotion works. The rule of thumb is simple: spend more, earn more. There are three tiers, each with bigger prizes than the last.
The first tier, with a qualifying spend of minimum S$12,000, 38 lucky cardmembers could win a Singapore Airlines business class return ticket to the USA, Shanghai, or a 2D1N stay at the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.
Foodies, however, would be interested in the prizes in the second and third tiers, with qualifying spends of $6,000 and $3,000 minimum, respectively.
In tier two, you stand to win Singapore Airlines economy class tickets to Thailand and Bali, or COMO vouchers totalling $500 and $400—it all depends on your luck. In the final tier, snag either $200 or $150 of the same vouchers.
With said vouchers, you can unlock culinary experiences at COMO’s portfolio of 11 different celebrated restaurants, each known for delivering exceptional dining experiences that span cuisines and styles.
At the one-Michelin-starred Pangium, Straits cuisine receives a contemporary reimagining under the deft hands of Peranakan chef-owner Malcolm Lee. The restaurant’s ever-evolving tasting menu pays homage to familiar flavours of the Malay Archipelago while pushing creative boundaries.
Priced from $198++ for lunch and $258++ for dinner, the dining experience here explores lost recipes and untold food stories from the wider Straits region. Explore plates both familiar and lesser-known, reinterpreted with Pangium’s signature flair. Highlights include the Eurasian snack Pang Susi, Rendang Tiram, a seafood spin on the Minangkabau tribe’s iconic rendang, and Nasi Ulam, known as the queen of Peranakan rice dishes for its equally intricate and laborious preparation.
Chef Lee’s Candlenut is also part of the COMO portfolio, which means you can use your vouchers here too. Renowned as the world’s first Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant, Candlenut has kept its one-star accolade since 2016—a testament to its finesse. Unlike Pangium, which showcases the deep culinary heritage of the wider Straits region, Candlenut hones in on Nyonya dishes with their Ah-Ma-Kase menu.
Riffing on the chef’s choice concept of Japanese omakase, Candlenut’s menu, priced at $108++ per person for lunch and $138++ per person for dinner, celebrates the dishes Chef Lee grew up with. Dishes like Aunt Caroline’s Babi Buah Keluak and Udang Masak Lemak marry nostalgia with fine dining sensibilities and elevated ingredients, from slow-cooked Iberico pork jowl to Ang Kar sea prawns.
Carrying on the Michelin train is COTE Korean Steakhouse, which arrived in Singapore last year. Located at COMO Orchard, the restaurant’s New York outpost holds a Michelin star and is the world’s very first Korean steakhouse restaurant to have that accolade.
COTE takes your average Korean dining experience to entirely new heights, thanks to the ingredients it sources from end-to-end. The Butcher’s Feast ($118++ per person) lets you experience the best COTE has to offer, with four curated cuts of grass-fed beef and a mouthwatering banchan spread, as well as a cup of Vanilla Soft Serve with Soy Sauce Caramel to close.
The devil’s in the details here: COTE offers top-end cuts—from USDA prime beef dry-aged in-house to Japanese A5 wagyu and Australian wagyu—all expertly grilled tableside for the best experience. Even the salt used to season the meats is a trademarked blend of three different salts, including a variant that’s aged for 1,000 days.
FYI: The COMO dining portfolio has plenty to offer beyond its Michelin-minted names.
If you’ve yet to try famed French patissier Cedric Grolet’s delicate creations, these COMO vouchers could just be the push you need. His first and only Asian offshoot is located at COMO Orchard, and it’s where you’ll find his signature trompe-l’oeil creations and intricately layered pastries.
For a taste of everything Cedric Grolet has to offer, order Tea Time ($95 per person). The set is a celebration of the season’s finest trompe-l’oeil creations, showcasing an array of summer-inspired treats such as Apricot, Strawberry, Blueberry Pavlova, Vanilla Matcha ‘Ice Cream’, and Framboisier.
Alongside these stunning sweets, guests can relish three savoury finger sandwiches featuring classic combinations like ham and comté, cucumber cream cheese, and salmon cream cheese. To complete the experience, each guest enjoys a choice of a hot and cold beverage, with the option to upgrade to a premium selection of champagnes for an added touch of luxury.
Another venture by a celebrated chef in the COMO umbrella is Torno Subito, by one of Italy’s most celebrated chefs, Massimo Bottura. Unlike his austere Osteria Francescana in Modena, Torno Subito is all loud colours and tongue-in-cheek decor, paying homage to the heyday of Italian cinema and beach holidays by the Adriatic Sea.
Sample the best of the Italian Riviera with the Riviera Tour menu, priced at $188++ per person. Standouts from the six-course affair include the I Love Pizza, a cheeky tribute to the classic marinara, and the Porchetta, a rich serving of roasted suckling pig with apple compote and Swiss chard. Even dessert takes a creative turn with the Colazione Siciliana: a warm brioche served with refreshing lemon sorbet, alongside a cannolo filled with creamy ricotta and crunchy pistachios. The sweet treat is rounded off with a shot of housemade chinotto, a bittersweet liqueur crafted from native Italian citrus.
For an equally established restaurant by a chef closer to home, reserve a table at Ippoh Tempura Bar by Ginza Ippoh. The restaurant has long been a Japanese culinary institution—its Osakan restaurant has been going strong for 150 years now, and its Tokyo locale, 50 years.
Chef Masaru Seiki, a fifth-generation tempura specialist, formulates the Osaka-style tempura recipe here. Set menus start at $90++ for nine pieces of tempura, a starter, a side, and a dessert. Expect freshly caught seafood and fresh vegetables deep-fried in a gossamer-thin batter for maximum crispiness. A la carte tempura options are available as well, including live shrimp and prized Japanese anago eel.
There’s no shortage of extraordinary dining experiences within the COMO portfolio. Best of all, you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy them—all it takes is spending on your HSBC Credit Card.
