Create Your Own Kunafa Dessert At This New Kiosk In Our Tampines Hub

Kebab Konafa has DIY kunafa at Our Tampines Hub

If you’re fully on board the kunafa hype train, then you’ll want in on this. Kebab Konafa, a new kiosk at Our Tampines Hub, lets you customise the Middle Eastern dessert to your liking.

Aside from traditional kunafa, they’ve also got kebab and even the viral Dubai kunafa chocolate bars.

Ordering is done via a touchscreen, and that’s where you get to Create Your Own Kunafa (from $8.90).

Start by choosing your kunafa filling, which is either Cheese, Filling Cream (additional $1), or both. Then, select your sauce of choice: you’ve got decadent options such as Caramel ($1.50), Biscoff ($1.50), Pistachio ($1.50), and even fruity flavours including Mango ($1.80) and Pomegranate ($1.50). Don’t forget to add some toppings as well. The Biscoff Crumbs ($0.80), Oreo Crumbs ($0.80), and Cornflakes ($0.80) add crunch and flavour to the kunafa, while the Marshmallow ($0.80) offers a chewy contrast.

While the kunafa here isn’t of the highest quality in terms of crispness or richness, the fact that you’re able to DIY it means that you’re in control of what kind of flavours and textures are present in the dessert. That’s surely an interesting proposition for kunafa fans.

For something heartier as a meal, order the Chicken Kebab ($8.50), a no-frills wrap with well-spiced chicken, fresh vegetables, and a mix of tangy sauces. By the way, there’s an option to enjoy two of the kiosk’s signature dishes with the Chicken Kebab & Classic Kunafa Combo Set ($17.80).

Kebab Konafa has its own Dubai Chocolate ($28.90) too. While we didn’t get to try this rendition, the staff assured us that it’s an authentic, Dubai-made chocolate bar.
