Just as durian season hits full swing, Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is bringing back its annual Mao Shan Wang Durian Afternoon Tea. Held at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge cafe, this limited-time special will run from 1 July to 31 August 2026, giving durian addicts two months to indulge in a spread of durian-inspired desserts, alongside free-flow canapes, tea and more.

The afternoon tea is priced at $48++ per person from Monday to Thursday, and $58++ per person from Friday to Sunday and public holidays. Apart from the limited-edition durian desserts, both sessions include two free-flow canapes of the day, TWG teas, and Lavazza coffee. If that’s not enough, the latter session also comes with your choice of a flute of champagne or sparkling tea.

A standout here is the Mango Sago Durian Puff: a delicate pastry filled with sweet mango cubes, creamy durian pulp, and chewy sago pearls, crowned with airy vanilla chantilly, mango coulis, and mango jelly for a refreshing tropical finish.

The Durian Cheesecake is another great pick, featuring a creamy cheesecake base infused with rich MSW durian, topped with a luscious layer of durian mousse.

There’s also the Durian Yam Mochi Tart, featuring layers of soft, earthy yam and chewy mochi in a crispy vanilla tart shell, topped with smooth, velvety durian fudge.

While you’re here, don’t miss out on their Durian Tiramisu with Lemongrass Jelly, starring a colourful, decadent trio of fluffy pandan sponge, sweet gula melaka cream, and durian mascarpone mousse, paired with aromatic lemongrass jelly.

Pair these delicious desserts with one of their bite-sized savoury treats, including the Grilled Mushroom and Miso Mayo Tartlet or Smoked Duck Mango Brioche, starring tender smoked duck paired with mango and chilli, all atop a toasted brioche.
