Move aside, bombolini: there’s a new contender on the island. Famous Japanese chain Mister Donut is launching its first-ever Singapore pop-up on 15 July 2022. The takeaway-only kiosk will be on Basement 1 of Jurong Point at WAttention Plaza, known for bringing in popular Japanese food products.

Fans can look forward to a whole slew of best-selling flavours at this upcoming pop-up, teased on Wattention Plaza’s Facebook page. Highlights include the signature Pon De Ring, which is a Japanese-style doughnut made featuring eight dough balls made with tapioca flour. Available in a clear or strawberry glaze, these QQ, mochi-like doughnuts are soft, bouncy, and lighter than regular doughnuts. This explains why they’re so popular globally!

Other must-try flavours that will be available at the pop-up are Honey Dip, Coconut Chocolate, and Custard Cream.

Mister Donut is the largest doughnut chain in Japan, and boasts over 1000 stores across Asia. It’s super popular in Taiwan, South Korea, and Thailand, so if you’ve ever visited these countries, you might be familiar with the chain’s mainstay flavours and seasonal specials.

Make sure you head down to the kiosk early to avoid disappointment, as we foresee a long queue, considering how popular these doughnuts are. The pop-up will only be around for one month, so you should enjoy these doughnuts while you can! For more updates, keep your eyes peeled to WAttention Plaza’s Facebook page.
