Mr Coconut To Open New Stall In Hougang On 25 November

Mr Coconut to open in Hougang Mall

Mr Coconut, a famous coconut shake kiosk, will open a stall in Hougang Mall. This marks their 17th outlet in Singapore, following the likes of Parkway Parade, One Raffles Place, Causeway Point, and more.

Mr Coconut’s upcoming stall was teased on a recent Instagram post, on their official page. We’ve reached out to the brand, who have confirmed the new Hougang Mall stall. The unit number will be #01-14, and the brand has confirmed 25 November as the opening date.

For the uninitiated, they are a homegrown coconut shake brand that has been around since 2016. It is only recently, though, that they have skyrocketed in popularity, with outlets drawing long queues for their beverages.

Their drinks are all made with 100% fresh Thai coconut juice, prepared daily. There are three series on the menu: the Shake Signature Series, their most popular, the Bubble Coconut Series, and the Fresh Juice Series.

The Shake Signature Series has six flavours, including Avocado, Oreo, and Cappuccino, with prices starting at $4.40 for a medium and $5.40 for a large. Praised for being thick, creamy, and rife with fresh coconut, these shakes are nearly a meal on their own.

For a bubble tea spin, there is the Bubble Coconut range, with five drinks that you can enjoy with boba toppings. Flavours include a striking Dragonfruit Coconut, made with real red dragonfruit, Taro Coconut, perfect for orh nee fans, and Chocolate Coconut, with chocolate and coconut notes that remind you of a Bounty bar. Prices for these begin at $4.80 for a medium and $5.80 for a large.

Finally, they have Fresh Juice, pure, unadulterated coconut water that you can enjoy as a quick thirst-quencher, available from $4.60.

Apart from drinks, the outlets also sell Coconut Ice Cream from $4, served in coconut shells that throwback to Chatuchak trips of days past. They also have Coconut Yogurt and Pudding priced from $2.50, available at select outlets.

For now, Hougang kakis can get excited about the opening. In the meantime, here are some more new kids on the block in our dining scene to check out: Sugar Toast in Wisma Atria, Baristart in Jewel Changi, and Milksha in Woodlands.

Address: 90 Hougang Avenue 10, #01-14, Hougang Mall, Singapore 538766
