Easties who are always on the hunt for late-night supper spots will soon have a new go-to. Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee is opening its fifth location at Century Square in mid-November 2026—shoppers at the mall have already spotted its hoarding next to popular Taiwanese restaurant Abundance.

While opening hours for Ng Kuan’s new branch are yet to be announced, their other outlets are known to open late into the night or even 24 hours, making it an ideal spot for night owls. Beyond that, the store’s Malaysian-style pan mee is loved for its punchy, bold flavours.

You can get their Signature Ban Mian with soup ($6.50) or as a bowl of dry noodles for $6.80. Each dish comes with al dente noodles, minced pork, ikan billis, fried shallots, garlic, a runny egg, and the star ingredient—hae-bee-infused chilli.

You can also choose from four types of noodles: mee sua, mee hoon kueh, you mian, and ban mian.

For a heartier option, you can add more protein with the Chicken Cutlet, Fish Cutlet, or Pork Cutlet ban mian at $8.80 each.

Alternatively, if you’re after something lighter, consider the Lala Soup ($6.80), Spinach Soup with Noodles ($7.80), or just a plain Spinach Soup ($6.80).

For groups who love to share, there is also a huge selection of sides, including Boiled Lala with Garlic and Chilli ($6.80), Spinach with Homemade Chilli Sauce ($6.80), and even Deep-Fried Squid Tentacles ($10).
