Playmade’s Seasonal Watermelon Drinks And Pearls Are Back For A Limited Time

Playmade has a refreshing watermelon series

The weather has been rather hot and cold recently, swinging from sweltering hot afternoons to rainy evenings. For days when you find yourself breaking a sweat, try cooling down with the watermelon series by Playmade, which has finally returned for a limited time. The well-known BBT brand is bringing back two of their watermelon concoctions, as well as their chewy watermelon pearls to add yet another unique pearl flavour to their lineup.

These watermelon drinks first made an appearance in August last year, and became a particularly popular item while it was in stores. Though the bubble tea store has brought back the thirst-quenching Watermelon Tea Blend ($4.90), Watermelon Milk Tea ($5.20), they’ve left out the Watermelon Latte in this seasonal comeback.

If you don’t feel like downing a whole cup of watermelon-flavoured drink, you can also choose to add on their Watermelon Pearls to any drink for an additional $1.

If you don’t mind making the trip down, these drinks are available for self-pickup at their Tampines and Clementi outlets, as well as pop-up collection points of their partner brands, Jiak by Jin Feng and FroRoll.

Playmade also offers delivery to residents staying in the Tampines region for a flat rate of $4. Their Clementi kitchen also delivers, but delivery fees range from $6 to $12. Alternatively, you can pair your drink orders with the Taiwanese dishes from Jiak or sweet snacks from FroRoll for islandwide delivery.

Check out our list of bubble tea delivery options or Milksha’s islandwide delivery to get your BBT fix while physical stores remain closed. Alternatively, make your own bubble tea at home with The Whale Tea’s DIY bubble tea kits!
