Poulet Is Officially Halal-Certified, Their Signature French Roast Chicken Now Muslim-Friendly

Poulet is now halal

French roast chicken bistro, Poulet, is a common sight around malls in Singapore. Now, the bistro has announced that they have attained their halal certification, expanding their reach to the local Muslim community.

All Poulet outlets islandwide are now MUIS halal-certified, as confirmed by a representative of the chain.

The eatery makes for a convenient spot to dine if you’re seeking roast chicken or a family-friendly eatery to dine with children. With outlets in high-traffic malls like ION Orchard, VivoCity, Kallang Wave Mall, and more, Poulet is also a convenient dining choice for many going about their weekend shopping.

Their signature dish is, of course, the Roast Chicken. It’s available as a whole bird ($30.90), half (from $16.90), or a quarter ($14.90), served along with your sauce of choice, be it Mushroom Cream or the pan gravy known as sauce Diane.

Enjoy your chicken in other ways too, as Poulet has a popular Chicken Pot Pie ($13.90) on the menu, as well as Glazed Wings with a Sriracha Hot Sauce ($8).

Poulet also does all-day breakfast, if you prefer a big breakfast instead.

Here’s hoping more eateries in Singapore go the way of Poulet and apply for a halal certification in order to open their menu to a greater community. Recently, Ordinary Burgers also went the same direction, attaining a halal stamp across its burger menu at both its AMK Hub and City Square Mall outlets.

We have also recently reviewed the cult famous Green Chilli Chicken Rice in Aljunied, with queues that go up to an hour-long for their ayam hijau.

Otherwise, check out the news that Jurassic World Cafe is coming to town, opening this month at ION Orchard’s ION Sky, serving up dinosaur-inspired treats and merchandise.
