If you missed the 1-For-1 Shabu Shabu Buffet at Kallang Mall earlier this year, don’t worry! With the school holidays finally here, Suki-Ya is offering a Lunch Buffet Promotion for students this September. This beloved Japanese chain is known for its delectable yet affordable sukiyaki hotpot experience. Priced at $16.90++, this lunch promotion at Suki-Ya will get you all-you-can-eat dishes, including shabu shabu, as well as a free flow of drinks for 60 minutes.

The Suki-Ya buffet offers a hotpot experience that’s worth every cent, with unlimited servings of thinly-sliced beef and pork, chicken, and a wide selection of vegetables to load your hotpot with. You can select between their five soup bases ─ the classic kelp and kombu Shabu-Shabu broth, Sukiyaki, which is a sweet soy base, Tonyu Miso, a creamy and nutritious blend of miso and soy milk, the spicy Kimuchi, and the rich Butaniku, a pork-based soup.

Hopping on the mala bandwagon, Suki-Ya has recently added a new soup base ─ the Miso Mala for spicy food lovers. We imagine that the savoury shiro miso base will round out the flavours of the Szechuan peppers.

The restaurants have removed their usual self-service bars and replaced them with mobile vegetable buffet trolleys in order to abide by the current health and safety measures. Their menus have also been moved online, where you can access contact-free by scanning the QR code on the table.

Head down to any Suki-Ya outlet and flash your student pass to enjoy this exclusive promotion this September holidays. Do note that this student lunch deal is only valid from Monday to Thursday, between 11.30am to 4pm (11.30am to 3pm at Marina Square and SAFRA Toa Payoh), excluding public holidays and eve of public holidays. It is also not applicable with any other promotions, discounts, offers or any card privileges.
