Taiwan’s Brown Sugar Milk Ice-Cream With Pearls Is Now Available In Singapore

Brown sugar pearl milk ice-cream now in Singapore

Earlier this year, we caught wind of a brown sugar pearl milk ice-cream in Taiwan that unleashed the inner bubble tea loving beast in us. Somehow, munching on a frozen piece of brown sugar milk with actual pearls is so much cooler than the real thing.

Comprising chewy tapioca pearls that are encased in fresh milk and lashings of brown sugar syrup, this decadent dessert has kicked up a real storm in Taiwan.

Although I’ve yet to try it, I’ve reached out to a friend in Taiwan who has snagged one for herself. According to her, the pearls are really chewy and go well with the creamy and velvety smooth milk ice-cream. It also helps that it’s going at NT$24 (S$1.06) a stick over there.

The good news is that Xiao Mei Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Ice Cream ($9.90 for four pieces) is now available in Singapore—thanks to local ice-cream importer, Happy Ice.

The bad news is that they’re all sold out, and the earliest you can lay your hands on them is by the end of August 2019. If you’re looking to get it delivered to your place, do note that the minimum order quantity is 20 boxes. Delivery is free; all you have to do is to fill up this form to indicate your interest.

If 20 boxes seems like a lot, you can always drop by their Bukit Batok office to purchase just a few boxes.

Another thing to take note is that they’ve allocated 2000 boxes for this round of pre-order, so be sure to act fast before they all get snapped up!
