The WAI Company: One-Stop Online Shop For Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh, 603 Tau Sa Piah And More

If you’re a fan of heritage snacks, The WAI Company is a new online store that brings together famous traditional brands in Singapore, so you can get them all at the same time. With brands including Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh, Ah Yee’s Soon Kueh, Kim Choo, 603 Tau Sa Piah and more, you’ll be able to order various traditional snacks and desserts, ranging from traditional kueh to old-school loaves!

What’s more, prices are not marked up at all, so rest assured you’ll not be paying exorbitant prices here.

For those who are big fans of ang ku kueh, order a box from Ji Xiang Ang Ku Kueh. Their classic Ang Ku Kueh comes in a box of six, 10 or 16, priced at $6.60, $11, and $17.60 respectively. Choose from Peanut and Sweet Bean, or get a box with a mix of both flavours. There’s also an option to get Ji Xiang’s Insta-famous Rainbow Ang Ku Kueh, priced at $12, $26, and $38 for six, 10 or 16.

Alternatively, treat yourself to the Premium Ang Ku Kueh ($7), which comes in a set of two, with flavours including Peanut Rainbow, Sweet Bean Rainbow, and Durian Mao Shang Wang.

You can even get the traditional Rainbow Bread Loaf ($2.50), and Ice Cream Wafer Biscuits ($2.50) from Chip Guan Heng to recreate your own old-school ice cream treat at home. If not, there’s also Cempedak Cake ($12) from Sweetlands Bread & Bakery, which our talents visited in their search for old-school bread!

If you love traditional desserts can check out Tong Shui Place for their Peach Gum Collagen Tong Shui ($6), which comes with peach gum, goji berry, red dates, and longan. Another popular pick is the Red Bean Soup with Sago and Tangerine Peel ($3).

Not only can you combine individual orders for your very own traditional snack party at home, The WAI Company also offers gift-worthy platters comprising assortments of different kuehs and snacks. The Premium Traditional Signatures’ Platter ($59) has eight items, ranging from kueh, to old-school cakes and tau sar piah.

Islandwide delivery is available at $10 per location, or enjoy free delivery when you spend over $80. Self pick-up is also available from Temasek Launchpad in Temasek Polytechnic.

Do note that you’ll need to place your orders at least three days ahead. There are plenty of options to choose from, so be sure to check out their website!
