China-Famous Tomacado Opens Floral-Themed Restaurant In Orchard

Tomacado opens its first international outlet in Singapore at Paragon

ICYMI: Tomacado, a renowned restaurant from China, has just opened at Paragon Shopping Centre, marking their first international location outside China. Known for their stunning floral aesthetics and all-natural ingredients, the menu offers a tasty fusion of Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian flavours over a wide selection of dishes, including soups, salads, meats, seafood and more.

Founded in 2015, the brand has 13 outlets across major cities in mainland China, as well as an award-winning restaurant in Hong Kong.

As we entered the dining area, we were greeted with a beautiful space, adorned with giant handcrafted peony displays, specially curated bouquets, and bespoke floral artworks.

Tomacado is all about clean and healthy eating, which means you won’t find greasy or processed food here. Expect a range of wholesome dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients, floral garnishes, and a colourful spread of veggies.

To kick things off, we had the Tomacado Signature Honey Roasted Pumpkin Salad ($24++), which came with a vibrant medley of ingredients: sweet chunks of roasted pumpkin, creamy avocado, sliced radish, chickpeas, mixed nuts, cherry tomatoes, croutons, and arugula, all tossed in a refreshing honey vinaigrette and topped with a silky onsen egg.

The onsen egg’s runny yolk lent a luscious finish, coating each bite in a velvety richness.

If you’re a fan of seafood, the Signature Cured Salmon ($28++) is a must-try, featuring delicate slices of salmon marinated in a dill-infused olive oil, then drizzled with Japanese soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, before being garnished with ground wasabi, purple flower petals, and lime.

The Tomacado Signature Roasted Chicken ($34++/$64++) is another banger, starring tender chicken paired with roasted celery, carrots, and onions, served alongside cherry tomatoes, avocado, and Tomacado’s house-made chilli powder. You can also choose between two sides: honey-baked pumpkin or roasted baby potatoes with rosemary.

The chicken was juicy on the inside with crisp, golden-brown skin on the outside.

We also had the MBS 6/7 Wagyu Steak ($89++), starring thick cuts of Wagyu striploin steak cooked to a delicious mediumrare, paired with caramelised shallots, butter-fried potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, and crispy kale chips. The dish came with four condiments, including herby tangy puree, black pepper sauce, Tomacado chilli powder and sea salt.

Of the four, the herby tangy puree was our favourite, a refreshing touch that cut through the meaty flavours.

There are also desserts, such as the Signature Almond Chocolate Cake ($14++), featuring a crumbly almond base layered with malty chocolate cream and coconut panna cotta, finished with toasted coconut flakes and fondant flowers.

Don’t miss out on their speciality drinks, with popular picks such as the Blue Butterfly Pea Sparkling Soda (Iced) ($15++), blending fresh lime juice with sweet blue pea tea, and the Rose-Infused Margarita Cocktail ($18++), a subtly spicy trio of tequila, triple sec, and rose syrup.

Before leaving, stop by their in-house flower shop, where you’ll find fresh seasonal blooms ideal for gifting or brightening your home.

Tomacado is located at level one of Paragon Shopping Centre, a 10-minute walk from Orchard MRT Station.
