Yakiniku fans can soon head to the East for their fix, with the opening of Wa-En Wagyu Yakiniku at Jewel Changi Airport in the second week of November 2022. Run by EN Group, which boasts a slew of Japanese dining spots under its name, the Michelin-approved restaurant hails from Hong Kong.

Fans can tuck into the Miyazaki A4/5 Wagyu Sashimi ($45++) to start, followed by an order of Morioka Cold Noodles ($18++) to cleanse the palate.

The Luxury Wagyu Beef Platter ($158++) is a must-order for Wagyu lovers, as you get a medley of cuts to sample: Miyazaki Wagyu Sirloin, Miyazaki Wagyu Ribeye, Deluxe Miyazaki Marbled Wagyu Karubi, and Premium Australian Thick-Cut Wagyu Beef Tongue.
