Yishun Park Hawker Centre $1 Carnival Returns With $1 Mao Shan Wang Durian On 29 June 2019

Head to Yishun Park Hawker Centre $1 Carnival

We may only be 11 days into June, but my pay is already gone by half, with bills to pay and what not. Thankfully, I know that the end of this month won’t leave me hungry, as the Yishun Park Hawker Centre $1 carnival is back!

Happening on 29 June 2019 from 11am to 5pm, this crazy cheap carnival will return with more $1 eats to fill your belly. Sure, they are all sample portions, but this also means I get to try out all the dishes at Yishun Park Hawker Centre at a fraction of the cost. Think hawker buffet, but you’re paying for what you wanna eat.

There are signature hawker favourites such as chicken rice and roti prata to keep ah mah and ah gong happy.

And for us younger folks with more adventurous taste buds, we can find delight in a scrummy mentaiko omelette rice from Seafood Pirates, as well as a quarter-serving of a juicy wagyu beef burger from Smokin’ Joe.

To ensure you don’t wipe the stall clean or hog up the queue, each customer is entitled to two portions of $1 dish each time they join the queue of a stall.

Since it’s durian season, Yishun Park Hawker Centre will also be offering 1,000kg worth of durians at $1 each. The only catch is that you will need to purchase a $1 dish from one of the participating hawkers to redeem a serving of durian. That being said, you can get as many servings as you want, according to how many $1 dishes you ordered.

Food shouldn’t be the only thing on your agenda. Fambams with kids can enjoy face painting and $1 bouncy castles. And if you love to thrift shop, there will also be a $1 weekend bazaar to check out.

Address: 51 Yishun Avenue 11, Yishun Park Hawker Centre, Singapore 768867
Event time and date: 29 June, 11am to 5pm
