10 1-For-1 Food Deals At Clarke Quay For Meat Platters, Mala Chicken And More

1-for-1 deals at Clarke Quay

The easing of Circuit Breaker measures means that dinner dates and catch-ups in small groups are now possible. Clarke Quay has always been a popular spot for gatherings, and there are now plenty of 1-for-1 deals at Clarke Quay to check out. As with all 1-for-1 deals, remember to bring along a friend or two to enjoy these exciting promotions!

1. Kushikatsu Tanaka

Kushikatsu is a popular type of Japanese skewer that comprises bite-sized pieces of meat or vegetables that are battered and deep-fried to a golden crisp. This dish has its roots in Osaka, which is also where Kushikatsu Tanaka comes from.

A lot of care is taken to ensure that the kushikatsu experience remains legit, with the panko flour, batter, and sauce imported directly from Japan. These skewers are great for sharing, and diners will be able to enjoy 1-for-1 kushikatsu daily until 9pm. These include the likes of Oyster ($2.50), Aomori Scallop ($2.50++), and even Cookies & Cream ($1.50++). Make sure to dip the skewers into the savoury dipping sauce for an extra punch of flavour.

2. Tsui Wah

Foodies who have visited Hong Kong would undoubtedly have popped into a Hong Kong-style cafe or cha chaan teng. Tsui Wah is a household name in Hong Kong, and you can now get the same heartwarming and hearty fare that Hong Kongers enjoy daily.

Hong Kong-style milk tea is characterised by its creamy smoothness, and is remarkably different from the sweeter BBT and teh peng that Singaporeans are accustomed to. With the new promotion, all you’ll have to do is purchase a main course before 9pm to get a Hong Kong-style beverage for free. There are plenty of mains to choose from, but a favourite of ours is the Kagoshima-Style Braised Pork Cartilage in Fish Soup with Mixian ($10.50++) that features mixian in fish soup that is topped with a generous portion of slow-cooked pork cartilage.

Top of our list is The Hole In One ($25++), which features a tasty meat duo of beef patty and pulled beef brisket. They’re all sandwiched between fluffy burger buns, topped with vegetables, and slathered with BBQ and the restaurant’s secret “holey” sauce.
