24-Hour McDelivery Is Back On The Weekends At Most McDonald’s Outlets

24-hour McDelivery is back

One of the most tragic pieces of food news to hit the fast-food circuit during 2020’s Circuit Breaker was the closure of McDonald’s for a whole month. When they finally reopened, 24-hour McDelivery services were suspended.

On top of reduced opening hours from 7am to 9pm daily, this meant there was no more McNuggets and fries with a welcome ringing the doorbell at odd hours of the night, or midnight jalan jalan to the nearest McDonald’s for McAnything.

While Phase One of post-Circuit Breaker operations brought extended operating hours at selected McD’s outlets, McDelivery was only available till 11pm.

You could only get McDonald’s till 2am at eight outlets islandwide as of August last year. Eight out of 130 locations, scattered in far corners of Singapore such as West Coast Park, Ang Mo Kio Park, Pasir Ris Sports Complex, and SAFRA Punggol.

Today, 57 McDonald’s outlets are back to round-the-clock operations and 24-hour McDelivery, but only on Fridays, Saturdays, and eve of public holidays. They remain open till 2am on all other nights. These include popular locations such as SCAPE in Orchard Road and the picturesque Queensway tea garden outlet. This was confirmed to Eatbook via a representative from McDonald’s Singapore.

If you’re not sure which outlets are operational around the clock on weekends, there’s a convenient filter tool on the McDonald’s website that’ll make life a little easier. At this current moment, only the ’24-hrs Weekends’ filter will show any results, since none of the outlets are open 24 hours through the week. Here’s hoping that this will change soon!

With trendy treats such as Mala Shaker Fries, and all-time favourites Prosperity Burger and Twister Fries back on the menu this CNY, night owls will truly be pleased to know that they’re able to satisfy their McDonald’s cravings at any hour of the night─but only on weekends.
