This Tampines Cafe Has $9.90++ Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Buffet

2Six Cafe has cheap ice cream and waffles buffet in Tampines

Update: 2Six Cafe is not offering this buffet for the time being.

If you’re a long-time reader of Eatbook.sg, you’ll know that we love our buffets. For something a little different from the usual free-flow dim sum or hotel buffets, head to 2Six Cafe. This under-the-radar cafe in Tampines offers a cheap ice cream buffet at just $9.90++ per person, including one set of waffles.

The cafe and dessert joint has just rolled out their Ice Cream Buffet, available only on weekdays. You get one hour of free-flow Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, along with a serving of waffles that are freshly baked to order.

You get to choose from six Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavours, including the oh-so-popular Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Therapy, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. There are also sorbets for those who want something lighter on the palate.

The waffles, served with honey and chocolate drizzle, are light and buttery, with a delightfully crisp exterior and a fluffy middle. Pair each square with a scoop of sweet ice cream to enjoy that perfect hot-cold combination!

If ice cream isn’t your jam, the cafe also has cakes on display, alongside a wide range of espresso-based coffees and savoury fare. Tuck into the likes of Red Velvet Cheese Mille Crepe ($8.50++), which features uber-thin layers of red velvet-flavoured crepe cake sandwiched by light cream.

2Six Cafe is located at Tampines East Community Club, a short four-minute walk from Tampines East MRT Station. The entrance isn’t the easiest to spot, so here’s a tip: look for McDonald’s, which is directly opposite the cafe.

If you want a more substantial meal in the area, head to Ippon Fusion Bowl for cheap Japanese donburi and noodle bowls from just $2.80. Otherwise, visit Rajarani Thosai for freshly made appam and thosai at Tampines Round Market & Food Centre!

Address: 10 Tampines Street 23, #01-03, Tampines East Community Club, Singapore 527201
Opening hours: Daily 9am to 10pm
