Dining deals at 313@somerset Food Festival

Eating out in town sometimes burns a hole in our wallets, but that doesn’t always have to be the case. The annual 313@somerset Food Festival will be happening from 2 to 31 August this year, featuring dining deals of up to 30% off, as well as a 15% cashback when you use FavePay. Here’s a list of food spots in 313@somerset for all foodies to check out this month.

1. Sora Boru

Sora Boru boasts an expansive menu of Japanese food, such as their signature Snow Beef Don and Volcano Beef Don at $13.50 a bowl. Looking like a snow-capped mountain, the Snow Beef Don is drenched with a white sauce made from whipping cream, and a good scattering of parmesan cheese.

Another reason to make a beeline for Sora Boru is their attractive weekday promotion. Enjoy 10%, 20%, and 30% off your entire bill when you dine here from 2pm to 3pm, 3pm to 4pm, and 4pm to 5pm, respectively.

2. Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen

Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen is a halal-certified restaurant that serves a great array of Hokkaido-style ramen. The bowl to order would be their Ichikokudo Ramen ($10.90++). Made with chicken bones, mackerel, bonito, and Hokkaido kelp, the ramen broth is rich and creamy from the first spoonful to the very last drop.

Boasting an extensive menu of 20 different ramen and 12 kinds of rice bowls, Ichikokudo Hokkaido Ramen will spoil you with choices. There are also three Japanese-inspired low table booths, along with ample seats in the restaurant, making it a great place to hold large group gatherings at.

Get 10% off your total bill when you order a ramen or rice bowl. It would be a good idea to head down straight after work as the promotion is exclusive to the first 1,500 orders.

Fusing the pastries with local flavours, they can be sweet or savoury, depending on your choice of filling. The SOETAMJIAK Breakfast ($4.80) is a classic flavour which is stuffed with egg mayo and chicken ham, while the Coconut Gula Melaka ($3.50) works best as a post-meal dessert.

In conjunction with the food fest, SOETAMJIAK will be having a Tea Time Set ($5.50), which comes with a croissant taiyaki and a choice of Vienna Coffee or Jasmine Tea Macchiato. This set is only available on weekdays from 1pm to 4pm, so make sure to save some stomach space after lunch!
