Apartment Coffee fans, take note: the popular cafe is shifting out of its Lavender location to a new space at 139 Selegie Road, a short six-minute walk from Rochor MRT Station. The minimalist cafe officially opened its doors in its new location on 4 September 2022!

The cafe is helmed by Yeo Qing He, an award-winning barista who placed in numerous coffee brewing competitions, including sixth place at the World Brewers Cup in 2018. At its previous Lavender Street location, the space saw clean white walls, high ceilings, and wooden furnishings for a minimalistic look.

Regulars love their seasonal menu as there’s always something new to explore each time. Filter coffee is the focus here, but you can also get your favourite espresso-based White (price TBC) or Black (price TBC) if you prefer. Look forward to trying beans from around the world, including less common options.

Coffee enthusiasts can also recreate the cafe experience at home with Apartment Coffee’s monthly subscription plan. Enjoy freshly roasted whole coffee beans delivered to your doorstep, and choose between filter roast or espresso roast. Additionally, subscribers get first dips on small-batch, seasonal coffee drops from time to time.

The new space retains its signature bright and airy look with an industrial meets minimalistic look; think concrete floors, clean walls, and a plant feature corner for photo ops.

You can also keep your eyes peeled on Apartment Coffee’s Instagram page for the latest updates.

In the meantime, to sort your caffeine fix, check out our guide to some of the best local kopi stalls in Singapore! The list includes YY Kafei Dian along Beach Road for traditional Hainanese kopi, fluffy kaya buns, and chicken rice.

Otherwise, head to the nearby GR.ID Mall, also on Selegie Road, for sweet potato crepe cakes, hearty Taiwanese lu rou fan and more.
