A&W Jurong Point Opens—The Chain’s First Outlet In The West

A&W Jurong Point

First A&W expanded to Ang Mo Kio and Sembawang, then they got their halal certification. Now, A&W Jurong Point is open on 5 February, bringing this fast-food franchise closer to all of us living in Western Singapore.

The outlet on the third floor of the mall is definitely substantial in size. It’s great news for Jurong-siders, who won’t have to travel up North or to the East for their A&W fix.

Besides the usual suspects of Root Beer Float ($3.50) and Curly Fries ($3.60), try the A&W Cream Cheese Burgers ($7.90), which were originally created for A&W Okinawa.

Outside of Okinawa, Singapore is the only other place in the world where you’ll be able to lay your hands on this burger! A lightly toasted semolina bun sandwiches a fried chicken or beef patty, tomatoes, lettuce, chicken crisps, deep-fried onion rings, more caramelised onions, and a generous dollop of cream cheese.

2021 is an exciting year for foodies, with Brotherbird Coffeehouse starting the year with a bang when they reopened on 2 January, bringing their soft serves and mochi doughnuts back on the scene. What’s more, Five Guys has also opened a second outlet in NEX, where Northeast residents can enjoy decadent milkshakes, cajun style fries, and burgers with up to 15 toppings.

If you’re an East-sider, you’ll be glad to know that Luke’s Lobster has opened another outlet within Changi Jewel, where you can get their limited edition truffle butter lobster roll, alongside the first-ever A&W outlet in Singapore. Alternatively, for more west-side eats, check out Annyeong Chicken in Clementi for Korean food in a hawker setting.

As West-siders decide to head down to A&W Jurong Point, here’s us eating everything on A&W’s menu to get you ready:

Address: 63 Jurong West Central 3, #03-42/43/44/45/46/47K3/K4, Jurong Point Shopping Centre, Singapore 648331
Opening hours: Daily 10am to 10pm
Website
A&W is a halal-certified eatery.
