Awfully Chocolate Has New Microwavable Molten Lava Cakes You Can Savour At Home

Awfully Chocolate Baked Chocolate Melt

Rich molten cocoa flowing from a fudgy chocolate cake—if that’s your idea of a satisfying dessert, you may also know that good quality chocolate lava cakes are often best enjoyed fresh in restaurants for that silky centre. Now, Awfully Chocolate has a new microwavable lava cake so you can indulge in this treat readily at home, instead of reserving them for the occasional restaurant visit.

Awfully Chocolate’s Baked Chocolate Melt ($58) is a toothsome sweet handmade with 60% Belgian dark chocolate. This decadent cake comes wrapped in parchment paper and serves up to 12 gooey slices.

When your cocoa cravings hit, easily prepare your dessert by cutting a slice and microwaving it for around 10 to 15 seconds on high. If a sole slice is enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, store the remainder back in the refrigerator. It’s also worth noting that the cake can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of two days from the delivery date.

Look forward to a bittersweet cake with a velvety smooth, melty centre, readily up for grabs in the comfort of your four walls. If you’re feeling extra fancy, plop a milky scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream atop your slice of cake.

In this age of the pandemic, it’s much more comfortable to celebrate special occasions at home with close friends and family. Enjoy the entire Baked Chocolate Melt with your loved ones by simply popping it, along with the parchment paper, into the microwave for around five minutes before relishing in the warm treat.

With Christmas fast approaching, the idea of getting a toasty fix of chocolate cake while watching lively Christmas movies also sounds extremely inviting. Otherwise, the Baked Chocolate Melt is a permanent fixture on Awfully Chocolate’s menu, so this delectable chocolate cake will still be up for ordering well after Christmas.

If you prefer to get your cocoa fix out of home, Awfully Chocolate also has chocolate cafes where you can savour one of their many chocolate cakes over a warm beverage.
