Bad Habits Provision has New York pizzas in Fort Canning

Get a slice of New York at Bad Habits Provision, a vibey, unostentatious pizzeria in Fort Canning. Unlike fancy restaurants such as Casa Vostra and Fortuna Singapore that serve up Italian-Neapolitan pizzas, Bad Habits Provision is all about indulging in New York pizzas in an underground space so hidden that it might be difficult to spot at first glance.

Pizzas here come in large slices and sport a much thinner and crispier crust, compared to their doughy Italian counterpart. But there’s one similarity: these pizzas are wood-fired to get that delightfully smoky char. Also, don’t worry about not being able to finish an entire pizza as they sell by the slice here!

On their menu, you will find four simple flavours: Margherita, Salami, Triple Cheese, and Garlic Mushroom. The Salami and Triple Cheese pizzas set you back $8++ per slice and $50++ for a whole, while the Margherita and Garlic Mushroom cost $7++ per slice and $45++ for a whole pizza.

If you don’t know what to go for, try their crowd-favourite Margherita Pizza which is said to be bursting with flavour. For the slightly more peckish, add on their Poutine ($12++), a dish featuring fries topped with gravy, or their Meatball Marinara ($15++), which stars a beef meatball drenched in a robust marinara sauce.

Take your pick among an extensive variety of coffee, milkshakes, kombucha, craft beers, and even coffee-infused cocktails. These are great to pair with your pizzas!

Situated in a secluded alley, the eatery is easy to miss if not distinguished by its vibrant red storefront shutters and neon signage. The pizza spot also has al fresco dining, allowing you to dine at the alley and make believe that you’re along the bustling streets of New York. 

For easy access, Bad Habits Provision is seven minutes away from Fort Canning MRT Station by foot.
