Hana Restaurant literally elevates soba, with their famous flying soba that’s draped over a pair of floating, gravity-defying chopsticks. Go for their signature Flying Cha Soba ($18++), which comes with springy matcha soba topped with spring onions and seaweed, with cold tsuyu sauce on the side. If you’d prefer your soba hot, you can get their Hot Soba ($14++), which has soba in a warm flavourful broth.
On top of soba, Hana Restaurant also offers sushi, sashimi, and cheap omakase too! Pair your noodles with their specialty maki, including Soft Shell Crab Maki ($18) or Chilli Crab Maki ($25).Â

Many of us are familiar with traditional Japanese soba, so the fusion soba at Reiwa Soba is definitely something out of the ordinary. Said to be influenced by Thai cuisine, their signature chilli sauce is made with a base of chicken and fish broth. All their noodles are house-made by the Japanese couple who run Reiwa, using 100% buckwheat as well.
Their best-selling dish is Reiwa Pork Soba ($12), which comprises buckwheat soba, Spanish white pork, and their signature sauce. Their popular fusion soba is Mango Salada Soba ($10), which features a unique fusion of Thai green mango salad and soba. For a soupy alternative, go for the Traditional Hot Kake Soba ($10), which boasts warm soba in a yuzu-infused broth.Â
