New openings keep popping up: we saw Rich And Good Cake Shopās new outlet in City Square Mall, and famous chocolate dessert cafe dipndip is coming to VivoCity in the near future too. Now, the ultra-popular Birds Of Paradise Gelato Boutique (BOP) has finally set up shop in none other than Holland Village!
This is the gelato shopās first-ever store outside of Central and East Singaporeātheir current shops can be found at Beach Road, Craig Road, Jewel Changi Airportāand a sole Northie location in Bird Paradise at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The latest BOP store takes over where Little Caesarās Pizza used to be, on the first floor of Holland Piazza, across from Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao.
Birds Of Paradise gained fame for their botanical gelato, which is said to be made from premium ingredients as much as possible, and flavoured with natural, botanical ingredients. Youāll know them for their bestselling flavours: White Chrysanthemum, Lychee Raspberry, Strawberry Basil, Spiced Pear and more.
If thereās one place where you should most definitely order your gelato in a cone, itās at Birds Of Paradise. Theirs is no ordinary ice cream cone; rather, itās a Thyme Cone thatās made fresh in every store. Itās a signature scent that wafts out of every BOP outlet and greets you before you see the shop.

Good news, the gelato shop recently came up with a new flavourāOrange Yoghurtāin light of their opening in Holland Village. This citrusy flavour is made of vegan coconut yoghurt and house-made orange marmalade. Do note that it will only be available for the month of December!Ā
This new Birds Of Paradise store also has dine-in seats, so take this as your sign to bring your friends to enjoy their gelato in an air-conditioned space.Ā
