Black Knight Hotpot Has New Menu, Get Fish Maw Hotpot With Live Prawns And Japanese Pork Collar

Black Knight Hotpot has new seasonal menu at Millenia Walk

If you’re a fan of hotpot, you may have heard of Black Knight Hotpot. The restaurant hails from Taiwan, where it has long cemented its place as one of the most sought-after hotpot eateries—it is even said that celebrities such as Ang Lee, A-Mei, and Jay Chou are big fans!

For those who have yet to try Black Knight Hotpot, now’s a good time as its Singapore outlet, located in Millenia Walk, is offering a new seasonal menu that’s stacked with refreshing appetisers and luxurious ingredients to add to your hotpot feast.

But before we get into the new items, we have to talk about the restaurant’s signature soup base, the Fish Maw Chicken Pot ($58++). Made with fish maw, kampung chicken, dry scallops, cordyceps and more, this collagen-rich broth packs a flavourful punch, and is said to have plenty of health benefits. If it’s your first time at the restaurant, make this your soup base of choice.

As the soup boils, start your feast with new appetisers such as the Six Kinds in Vinegar ($18++). You get a bowl filled with prawns, century egg, organic fungus, cucumber, peanuts, and jellyfish head, served cold and slathered in aromatic vinegar.

When you’re ready to begin cooking the ingredients in the pot, be sure to shabu-shabu the new Live Prawns ($12/100g). Caught from tanks in the restaurant itself, these fresh prawns will add sweetness to the broth, and are themselves springy and moreish.

Since you’ve got to have some meat with hotpot, we recommend you order the seasonal menu’s succulent cuts. These include the US Prime Short Boneless Rib ($38++), Australia Beef Tongue ($28++), Japanese Pork Collar ($26++) and more.
