Burger King Has New Buttermilk Burgers And Fries, A Remix Of Your Fave Zi Char Dish

Burger King launches new Buttermilk Burgers and sides

Everyone has their zi char staples, and if creamy butter chicken or butter crab happen to be your go-tos, you’re in luck. Burger King has just announced their latest seasonal releases, a series of Creamy Buttermilk burgers and all-new sides that are sure to satisfy.

Like its zi char counterpart, Burger King’s Buttermilk offerings spotlight a creamy, aromatic sauce made with butter, evaporated milk, curry leaves, chilli padi, and other fragrant spices. Those in team Butter Crab know exactly how this sauce tastes.

Enjoy the sauce in one of their three fully loaded burgers as part of a meal. The Creamy Buttermilk Chicken ($11.45) is our favourite—the creamy sauce and the ultra-crispy chicken patty are a classic combination for a good reason.

Alternatively, opt for the lighter—but equally indulgent—Creamy Buttermilk Fish ($11.45) or the smoky Beef Burger ($11.95), where Burger King’s signature flame-grilled patty adds a rich, smoky depth to the luscious sauce.

Prices stated in this article are for when you order an upsized meal on delivery platforms, such as Deliveroo, GrabFood, and foodpanda. Each meal comes with a refreshing medium Sjora Mango Peach drink and large French fries.

If you’re worried about spice levels, fret not. The chilli in the buttermilk sauce is fairly mild, so you’ll be able to handle the heat even if your usual zi char orders include “no chilli please!”.

Double up on the buttermilk sauce by pairing your burger with any of their new sides: the Creamy Buttermilk Fries (from $5.55), available in regular or large, or the 6-piece Nuggets With Buttermilk Sauce ($6.90).

Otherwise, zone in on the 5-piece Mac & Cheese Bites ($6.90), back on the menu thanks to popular demand. Here, rounds of mac & cheese are battered and deep-fried till they’re golden brown on the exterior and ooey-gooey in the middle.

Rounding out the slate of new eats on the Burger King menu this season are two desserts: the Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie ($3.90) and the Hojicha Cheesecake ($5.90). Get one, or both as a little treat—no one will judge. The former is a hot pocket pie with decadent cream cheese and jammy strawberry at its core, while the latter balances velvety cream cheese with earthy hojicha.

Note that this limited-time offer menu is while stocks last.

The new Creamy Buttermilk series will be available at all Burger King outlets islandwide, as well as on all delivery platforms.
