Calling all burger lovers! While popular international burger giants such as Shake Shack and Five Guys have made their mark in the local burger scene, BurgerLabo, a homegrown gem in Henderson Road is no less impressive. What sets them apart is that they’re all about the meat, with minimal to zero veggies in sight!

Since their establishment in 2015, BurgerLabo, formerly known as 2280 Burger, has been serving patrons delicious burger offerings. They are known to have one of the best burgers in Singapore, so much so that they were named the best burger in a taste test on a Straits Times video, prevailing over heavyweights such as Carl’s Junior and Shake Shack.
Initially, their menu solely consisted of their signature 2280 Beef Burger. Now, they have expanded their menu with four new additions: Pure Japanese Wagyu Burger, Basic Burger, New Zealand Blue Cod Burger, and Lobster Roll.

Their mainstay flavour, the signature 2280 Beef Burger ($9.90) remains a crowd favourite for its great value. This burger features a grilled grass-fed Aberdeen Angus patty that’s cooked a la plancha, AKA grilled on a metal plate, to infuse a smoky flavour. It’s topped with pickled red onions, American cheese, beef garum, and their house-made shio kombu burger sauce. All of this is then sandwiched in a soft, buttered potato bun.
If you’re feeling hungry, load up with a double patty, priced at $13.70.

Those who prefer fish can go for their New Zealand Blue Cod Burger ($18.50) instead. This burger stars a blue cod fillet, deep-fried to golden brown perfection, and topped with a sauce that comprises house-made shio kombu mayonnaise, smashed avocado, and chopped pickles.Â
It is highly recommended to top up $6 for an additional Aji Fry Fillet, AKA deep-fried horse mackerel, for extra crisp and savoury goodness.

Don’t miss out on their Lobster Roll ($43.50), which features grilled American lobster meat infused with luscious lobster butter. This roll is also topped with their house-made shio kombu mayonnaise and sandwiched in a soft, buttered baguette.
If you’re craving more burgers, visit Honbo, a popular burger chain from Hong Kong known for their smashed burgers! Otherwise, there’s also Mahmud’s Tandoor in Bugis which has tandoori chicken burgers.
