Butter & Cream Bakery Has Salted Egg Lava Tart And Fresh Muffins Below $3 In Lau Pa Sat

Butter & Cream Bakery has popular egg tarts and muffins in Raffles Place

If you love your simple old-school egg tarts and muffins, you’ll want to check out Butter & Cream Bakery! What’s unique here is that besides your usual familiar baked goods, you’ll also find zhnged-up egg tarts and a marriage between a muffin and doughnut, AKA a doffin.

Try the highly raved Salted Egg Lava Tart ($2.90)! This features a creamy savoury filling, encased by a buttery and crumbly case that you’ll also get in all the other egg tarts.

If you’re not feeling adventurous, they also have the Original Egg Tart ($2.60) with a silky smooth filling. Alternatively, go for their Chocolate ($2.60), and sweet-tangy Blueberry ($2.60). These boast extra fillings below the eggy custard.

In addition, try the various muffin options here such as Apple Crumble ($2.60), Blueberry ($2.60), or Banana ($2.60) which has real banana bits within and toasted coconut flakes atop.

Otherwise, they also have Marshmallow ($2.60) that’s bound to be a hit with young kids.

While you’re here, don’t forget to pick up their popular doffins. There’s sweet-milky Hokkaido ($2.60) and savoury Cheese-Me-Up ($2.60), both of which sport the same buttery sponge.

If you’d like more tasty baked goods, check out Keong Saik Bakery that has pandan croissant flans! Otherwise, read our On’Lee Artisan Bakery review for cheap croissants and cream puffs!
