If Goldilocks lived in Singapore, she’d skip the bears’ house and head straight to Dhoby Ghaut for this Porridge Buffet, priced from just $14.40++ per person! Located at YWCA Fort Canning, Cafe Lodge offers unlimited bowls of Teochew porridge along with a rotating lineup of over 30 mains and toppings.

The porridge buffet is available at various time slots throughout the week. The cheapest of the lot is their 1-for-1 buffet dinner from Monday to Thursday, priced at $28.80++ for two—which means just $14.40++ per person! You can also catch their weekday buffet lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm, costing $19.80++ per person. Otherwise, pay $28.80++ per person for Friday dinner, and weekend lunch or dinner.

The deals don’t end there, as Cafe Lodge also offers a choice between one complimentary Steamed Sea Bass or Golden Pomfret for every two adult diners during weekends. But if you’re fully booked then, not to worry, as the two dishes are still available on weekdays at $9++ each.

Their buffet spread offers a fresh range of seasonal seafood that don’t skimp on quality, including lala, prawns, jellyfish, and squid.

There are live stations as well, serving up various hot dishes such as braised pork belly, braised duck, chili oil chicken, and mapo tofu.

You can top your bottomless porridge with an endless supply of tasty condiments too. Highlights include dace fish fillet, minced pork with black bean paste, century eggs, preserved beancurd, braised peanuts and many more.

For desserts, tuck into various bite-sized cakes, eclairs, mango pudding, and a colourful assortment of freshly cut fruits, comprising pineapple, honey dew, watermelon and more. Thereafter, wash it all down with free-flow Chinese tea and coffee.

Cafe Lodge is conveniently located within YWCA Fort Canning, just a quick seven-minute walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Do note that it may be best to make a reservation before visiting, as they are said to be quite popular.
