Get Taro And Dalgona Latte From This Coffee Kiosk At One Holland Village

Caffeine Xpress is a new coffee kiosk at One Holland Village

One Holland Village has finally opened its doors after many years of construction. Among the numerous eateries, there’s a coffee kiosk named Caffeine Xpress that has found a new home in the mall, after bidding goodbye to their first spot at Holland Road Shopping Centre.

Previously, Caffeine Xpress was found within the popular Thambi Magazine Store in Holland Village. Regulars knew them as a hidden gem as the store was quite literally hidden and tucked away in a corner of the magazine store.

Though their location has changed, the menu has thankfully remained pretty much the same. This means you can still get your hands on their Dalgona Latte ($6.50), an iced latte that’s topped with crunchy honeycomb toffee. Throwback to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic when many of us were trying to recreate the viral dalgona coffee in the comfort of our homes!

Do note that the Dalgona Latte is only served iced. For plant-based milk alternatives, including soy and coconut, simply pay an additional $1!

Another popular drink is the Taro Latte ($5/$6), a gorgeous purple drink that comes in both hot and iced options. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy this drink as it’s said to be mildly sweet without being cloying.

Matcha fans can opt for the Matcha Latte ($5/$6) instead for a nice balance of bittersweet flavours. Give your drink a good mix before taking your first sip to get rid of any clumps at the bottom of your cup.

If flavoured coffee isn’t your cup of joe, don’t worry. There’s the classic Long Black ($4/$5), Flat White ($5/$6), and Piccolo ($5) for you to choose from! You can also find a small selection of bakes here such as Lemon Meringue Pie ($6), and Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($6.50).
