Welcome the dragon year with their selection of six curated set menus, including their new Happiness 年年有余 Set, priced at $1,348++ for eight people. The eight-dish set comes with highlights such as their decades-long signature Soon Tak Yu Sheng, topped with slices of hamachi sashimi, Steamed Live Soon Hock, Braised Whole Abalone, Dried Oyster, Black Moss & Vegetable, and Roasted Duck. Treat your fam to a Japanese-style reunion dinner this CNY at super chio Japanese restaurant Mio Fine Foods. The 8 Course Set Menu ($268++) here is good for four, and starts with Mio Fine Food’s signature Edible Garden Yu Sheng with Assorted Sashimi, dressed with a house-made plum sauce. Other highlights on this set menu include Almond Ebi Tempura and mains such as Mini Hotate Ikura Truffle Somen or Gyu Don.

Ordering their Boston Lobster and Ikura Yu Sheng with Passion Fruit Sauce (from $268) for your reunion dinner will definitely make you the favourite person for the evening, thanks to how indulgent the yusheng is. Sweet lobster meat is jazzed up with a zesty passion fruit sauce, then finished with pops of brine from the salmon roe pearls. Other yusheng options are available too.
A reunion dinner isn’t complete without roasted meats and pen cai, and thankfully, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium has you covered for both. Prices start at $128++ for their Vegetarian Set Menu, which comes with six courses, of which there are dishes such as Double-Boiled Bird’s Nest, Golden Pumpkin Broth, and Wok-fried Glutinous Rice.
If it’s takeaways you’re after, the restaurant has you covered with their selection of festive treats, from pen cai to roast meats, even a whole family feast. Mod-Peranakan restaurant Rempapa offers a CNY feast with a twist. From 3 February to 24 February, pay a visit to the restaurant to enjoy a special festive dine-in menu, with a selection of a la carte dishes to order. If you’re dining with the family, the Herbal Chicken in Lotus Leaf ($48++) is a must, starring a whole French chicken cooked with a selection of herbs, wrapped in a lotus leaf. The Teochew-Style Steamed Red Grouper ($68++) is another dish worth ordering—a whole fish is steamed in superior chicken stock, then topped with salted vegetables, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and beancurd.
