Coffee Break Opens At Holland Drive With Pistachio Latte, Black Sesame Toast And More

Coffee Break opens at Holland Drive Food Centre with unique kopi

If you’re as much a fan of unique kopi stalls as we are, you’ll have heard of Coffee Break. The homegrown brand recently set up shop at Holland Drive Market & Food Centre!

Founded in 1935, the humble coffee stall is now run by third-generation hawkers. The brand stands out from its counterparts by offering cafe-style kopi and toast in a coffeeshop setting.

Coffee Break is most known for their flavoured kopi and teh, combined with Black Sesame ($3), Ginger ($3), Taro ($3) and more. They also offer Latte ($4) in a wider selection of flavours, including Butter Pecan, French Vanilla, and Pistachio.

Do note that you’ll need to top up $0.50 for iced drinks. There’s also the option to upgrade to oat milk or soy milk for $1.20!

While you’re there, don’t miss out on their popular Black Sesame Toast ($3.50), starring uber-thin toast slathered with a rich and creamy black sesame spread, complete with cold butter slabs. If you’re not fond of black sesame, they have other options such as Kaya Butter ($3), Earl Grey Creme ($3.50) and Taro Coconut ($3.50). Get more bang for your buck by ordering a toast and a drink to enjoy $0.50 off your purchase.

We’ve heard that Coffee Break is also selling waffles at their Holland Drive outlet. These baked-to-order waffles are priced from $4.50 for the Kaya Butter filling.
