Not only will you be getting piping hot crab ASAP, you also have the choice of  Chilli, Black Pepper and Salted Egg Yolk crabs. The crabs sold weigh about 1kg and go for $60, which is about the same as what the restaurant charges. If you prefer to show off the culinary goddess in you, there’s an option to purchase a frozen pre-cooked crab for a quick stir-fry at home. Or, you know, just microwave it and bask in the glory.

The vending machine is only available at their Punggol outlet for now, but don’t fret – there are plans to bring this concept to their other outlets as well. All you have to do is select your chosen crab from the touch screen menu and pick between the frozen or cooked version and pay with cash or credit card and countdown till your crab is done. It even comes with a bib and plastic gloves so you’re 100% ready to attack at the crabs wherever you are.

We already foresee the curious crowd that will gather, so head down to House of Seafood’s The Punggol Settlement outlet to try it out first!
