If you frequent the Orchard stretch, you might have come across Crazy Rich Thai Cafe which recently opened in Paragon. This new Thai cafe took over the space of the old Greyhound Cafe, on Level 1 of the mall!

The space sports a refreshed look: half of the seating area is decked in a pretty shade of Tiffany blue, while the other half features 2D black-and-white “drawings” similar to Cafe Monochrome.

Food-wise, early risers can expect a value-for-money breakfast menu that runs from 9am to 11am daily. Those who want something simple can go for the house-made Pancakes ($12.80++) or Thai French Toast ($10.80++): brioche toast with Thai tea milk pudding. Otherwise, the Khao Tom Talay ($18.80++)—traditional Thai-style porridge with seafood and fritters—will hit the spot on a rainy morning. These sets come with coffee or tea, so you’re getting bang for your buck.

For mains, look forward to a wide selection of classic Thai and fusion dishes. Try their Signature Beef Kway Teow Soup ($16++), which comes with beef balls, beef slices, and veggies in a hearty broth.

Otherwise, opt for a plate of Crazy Rich Pad Thai ($22++), zhnged up with plump oysters and prawns.

For something lighter, order the Khao Yum ($16++), a well-presented plate of butterfly blue pea rice with an assortment of fresh toppings. Toss everything together and enjoy the burst of flavours!

If you’re in the mood for more carbs, they also offer a lineup of fusion pasta dishes, including Red Curry Ravioli ($22++) and Tom Yum Talay Pasta ($22++).

In related food news, famous French pastry chef Chef Cédric Grolet will be opening a cafe in Orchard this September! Fans can expect his signature pastries, cakes and more in the new dine-in space.
