This Amoy Hawker Stall Has Spanish Latte And Matcha Under $4.50

Daylight Coffee has cafe-style coffee at Amoy Street Food Centre

I was exploring Amoy Street Food Centre on a fine Tuesday afternoon when I chanced upon Daylight Coffee, a hawker stall selling cafe-style coffee at wallet-friendly prices. After taking a quick look at the menu, I thought to myself that their offerings were a great deal, especially for those working in the CBD.

When I visit a cafe, my go-to coffee order is an Iced White ($4) or Iced Oat White ($5). And so I decided to order the latter, while my colleague got a cup of Iced Matcha Latte ($4.50).

NGL, I wasn’t expecting my Iced Oat White to taste as good as the ones I get from speciality coffee shops. But to my surprise, there was a decent balance of roasted coffee notes and creamy oat milk.

On the other hand, my colleague wasn’t too impressed with their Iced Matcha Latte as the matcha flavour was quite lacking. This drink might be right up your alley if you prefer something milkier!

Those who can’t make up their mind can try their bestselling Spanish Latte ($4.50), which is only served iced. Spanish Latte is typically made using espresso, milk, and condensed milk, and is said to be slightly sweeter than a regular latte.

For more sweet alternatives, they also have Vanilla Latte and Caramel Latte priced from $4 each. Else, opt for the Honey Lemon ($2.50) or Thai Milk Tea ($2.50) instead!
