Famous Fried Chicken Wing Stall Eng Kee Is Now Open At Boon Lay

Eng Kee Chicken Wings is now at Boon Lay

If Commonwealth, Redhill, Beauty World, and West Coast are not far west enough for you, Eng Kee Chicken Wings is adding one more spot to that list that’ll make Jurong-siders very happy. Today marks the first day of their opening at Boon Lay Hawker Centre, bringing the total number of Eng Kee outlets to five.

For the uninitiated, Eng Kee Chicken Wings has earned themselves long queues for their ultra crisp, juicy wings that are not overly seasoned, and sport just the right amount of batter.

They’ve definitely mastered the art of fried chicken wings—Eng Kee Chicken Wings has been churning out these deep-fried bites since 1989! Their Commonwealth branch is the main store, but these other outlets have made them so much more accessible. If this Facebook post is anything to go by, they’ve got one more outlet in the works, so Easties, there’s still hope for an Eng Kee to pop up closer to you.

The fried chicken wings here are priced at $1.60 for a full wing, which you can enjoy with a side of fried bee hoon ($1.20) or kway teow mee ($1.20).

As with your usual economical bee hoon stalls, there’s a spread of ingredients that you can pick to go alongside your order: otak ($1.50), fish cake ($0.80), Taiwan sausage ($1.40), which is one of the popular items here, and more. Plus, there’s the quintessential stewed cabbage ($0.70) or fried long beans ($0.80).

Another famous hawker stall that’s launching a new outlet is Roast Paradise, opening soon in Sengkang. If not, head to Orchard Road and check out Shakey’s Pizza, a Filipino-famous pizza chain that’s known for their fried chicken, said to rival Jollibee’s!

Address: 221B Boon Lay Place, #01-114, Boon Lay Hawker Centre, Singapore 641221
