Facebook Cafe will be coming to Singapore from 22 to 24 November 2019, and they will be giving away free Emoji pancakes and coffee by the famous Five Oars Coffee Roasters. The catch is that you will have to do a short quiz about online security on Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp, to redeem your complimentary brunch food.

This is limited to one set per person, and you won’t get to choose the pancakes you want, as it is dependent on the score you get from the quiz. So the higher your knowledge on online security, the tastier your pancake—win-win.

The Facebook Cafe pop-up started in the UK in August, and it has been making its rounds in Southeast Asia, with a joint popping up in Jakarta recently.

Unlike the Jakarta branch that served waffles, the food at Singapore’s Facebook Cafe pop-up will probably be more indulgent since it is created by Five Oars Coffee Roasters.

Five Oars Coffee Roasters was one of the winners for the Eatbook Top 50 Cafes in 2018, and it is best known for their fluffy Creme Brulee French Toast ($18.50+), which has a crackling layer of caramelised sugar and moist eggy centre. The warm, comforting taste of the French toast pairs well with the pistachio ice cream on the side, creating a delicious treat meant for any time of the day.

Five Oars Coffee Roaster is located a short walk away from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and has a minimalist vibe. If you’ve always wanted to check out this cafe without spending a bomb, you can do so at the Facebook Cafe. Just remember to read up on online security before coming!

Address: 39 Tanjong Pagar Road, Singapore 088462
Event date and time:
22 Nov: 2pm to 6pm
23-24 Nov: 9am to 6pm
